PAR Technology Corporation seeks a Technical Account Manager/Partner (Data) Engineer to join our Partner Engineering team. You will serve as the primary technical liaison for strategic clients, owning the relationship from scoping through implementation and ongoing support, collaborating with Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to solve complex data challenges.

Reports To: Director of Technical Operations and Delivery.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is required.
• 3+ years in a technical role involving direct client interaction (e.g., Technical Consulting, Partner Engineering).
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with data platforms like Snowflake, Redshift, and Athena.
• Proficiency in Python and its data stack (pandas, numpy, polars, pyspark, boto3).
• Deep experience with AWS cloud services including core compute, storage, and analytics tools.
• Experience with large-scale datasets and varied data formats (Parquet/ORC/CSV).
• Experience troubleshooting distributed systems and cloud services (EMR/Lambda/S3/Kubernetes).
• Experience with Jira and Git/GitHub for Agile projects.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the main technical liaison for clients, ensuring long-term success and high satisfaction.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise updates for non-technical audiences.
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams to resolve technical issues and align on requirements.
• Educate clients on platform capabilities, integration best practices, and data governance standards.
• Proactively manage client communication, expectations, and roadmaps.
• Document solutions and processes clearly in Confluence or internal wikis.
• Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows.
• Develop in Python using the data stack and leverage AWS services (S3, Redshift, Athena, Glue, EMR).
• Write efficient SQL for data transformation and analysis.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Jenkins, and Docker.
• Follow Agile practices using Jira and contribute to a DevOps culture.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues across AWS services, data pipelines, and codebases.
