Job summary

ATC, based in Boise, Idaho, is seeking a Technical Records Specialist 2 for the Newborn Screening & Children’s Special Health Program. The role focuses on managing data collection, supporting reporting, and delivering timely customer service to families and health providers.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience analyzing information and researching sources to identify issues.
• Experience entering and retrieving data using a computerized record system.
• Experience composing and proofreading business correspondence.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook).
• Monitoring record systems to identify and correct errors.
• Interpreting, explaining, and applying laws, regulations, and complex policies for program procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain specialized software used for program data collection, evaluation, and reporting.
• Provide customer service and technical assistance to external customers.
• Determine and explain compliance with laws, rules, regulations, policies, and take appropriate action.
• Extract data for analysis, data visualization, or reports.
• Conduct data quality and improvement assessments and implement changes.
• Troubleshoot software or process problems and develop solutions.
• Assists with other tasks, projects, and priorities as assigned.
