Job summary

SHI International Corp. is expanding its SHI One team within the Advanced Solutions Group to build new digital experiences for internal users, customers and partners.

The Data Engineer will analyze, design, and develop data engineering and ETL workflows, partnering with stakeholders to centralize and maintain data for analytics initiatives and to establish a new data engineering practice. You will collaborate with data engineers, scientists, and AI engineers to deploy enterprise-scale analytics

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field.
• 5+ years in a similar data engineering role.
• 5+ years with Python and SQL.
• 5+ years with C# and/or Java (preferred).
• Willingness to travel ~10%.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable data pipelines and software solutions for data engineering and analytics.
• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and AI engineers to deploy analytics solutions.
• Analyze business requirements and transform raw data into reusable analytics assets.
• Implement data quality, version control, and deployment practices for analytics platforms.
• Troubleshoot data and software issues and drive continuous improvements.
• Partner with solution architects to ensure seamless integration of analytics into broader designs.
• Maintain documentation for data processes and software.
• Conduct data analysis to support data-driven decisions.
• Assist in developing data platform architecture and long-term strategy.
