Job summary

City and County of San Francisco is seeking a Data Enablement Operations Analyst to join DataSF. The role collaborates with the Enablement Principal to implement the platform strategy, meet department needs, and streamline workflows.

Located in a hybrid environment, you will engage with analysts and partners citywide to improve data enablement. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in information systems, strong written communication, and familiarity with workflow tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher not required; associate degree acceptable with substitution of experience.
• 1 year in information systems field including technical support, content management, or system analysis.
• One year of additional experience may substitute for the degree; completion of the 1010 Information Systems Trainee Program may substitute for the degree.

Responsibilities

• Triage incoming requests and manage enablement practice intake.
• Onboard departments to the UDP from first contact through active use; coordinate access and kickoff.
• Support governance by coordinating data-sharing agreements and keeping inventories accurate.
• Create self-service guides and documentation to answer frequent questions.
• Coordinate training programs: schedule cohorts, track attendance, collect feedback.
• Identify manual steps and develop automation to improve operations.
