Dulce Independent School District’s Dulce Elementary School seeks a Title I K–5 Math Interventionist to provide targeted, data-driven math instruction to students below benchmarks within MLSS, collaborating with classroom teachers.

The role uses screening tools like I-station/ISIP, maintains rigorous progress data, and partners with families through Title I initiatives such as Family Math Nights to boost math proficiency.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, Mathematics Education, or a related field.
• Valid New Mexico teaching license (Level II or Level III-A preferred) with an appropriate elementary education or mathematics endorsement.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of successful classroom teaching experience with a documented track record of improving student math performance.
• Preferred: Hold or be eligible for the NMPED Elementary Math Specialist Licensure.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver high-quality, research-based mathematics instruction to tier 2 and tier 3 students using concrete manipulatives, visual representations, and math discourse.
• Administer and interpret NMPED-approved screening and progress monitoring tools to diagnose learning gaps and design specific instructional targets.
• Maintain precise, data-based documentation of student growth and adjust intervention plans based on performance.
• Meet regularly with grade-level teams and instructional coaches to align intervention strategies with core classroom instruction and share best-practice resources.
• Keep rigorous records of student eligibility, attendance, and instructional logs to satisfy Title I auditing and reporting requirements.
• Partner with families to communicate strengths and deficits, and lead campus Title I Family Math Nights.
