Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an Operations Manager in Georgia to lead a team of salaried and hourly staff, driving safety, quality, and productivity. You will guide data-driven decisions to improve efficiency and ensure timely customer deliveries across all workflow stages from first mile to last mile.

Responsibilities include mentoring the workforce, managing large-scale projects, coordinating with safety, engineering, and HR, and maintaining performance metrics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of employee and performance management experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years Amazon experience
• Work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays
• 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques
• Experience leading 2+ salaried and 70+ indirect employees
• Lean process, Kaizen, or Six Sigma experience
• Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your salaried and hourly workforce
• Lead large-scope projects with site and regional impact
• Build and execute productivity plans via forecast reviews and load balancing
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and delivery promises
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, HR to meet objectives
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand for up to 12 hours
• Work in variable temperatures and outdoor loading environments
• Climb stairs where applicable
