Job summary

Hiscox USA is seeking a Pricing Analyst to develop rates and factors for new products, monitor performance, and support rate filings. You will work with multi-disciplinary teams to implement pricing methods and provide decision-support across the organization.

The role emphasizes analytics, communication of complex concepts to stakeholders, and contributing to a best-in-class pricing framework within a hybrid office environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 0–3 years of experience in pricing.
• Progress toward CAS actuarial accreditation (1+ exams preferred).
• Coding skills in SQL, VBA, and/or R.

Responsibilities

• Maintain quarterly rate indication process with methodologies, validation and communication.
• Apply standard actuarial techniques like loss development, trending and GLMs.
• Present product concerns and recommendations to stakeholders using PowerPoint/Tableau.
• Develop data processes: SQL queries, validation, and data quality checks.
• Organize and support rate filings.
• Assist senior pricing team on projects.
