Job summary

Hiscox USA is seeking a high-impact Pricing Manager to develop, implement, and maintain pricing processes and strategies across Professional Liability, General Liability, BOP, Management Liability, Cyber, and other specialty lines. You’ll lead a small team of analysts, work closely with IT for rate filing implementations, and report to the Head of Pricing to drive profitable growth.

The role emphasizes deep analytics, rate strategy execution, and collaboration across multiple business units,

Qualifications

• 5+ years actuarial pricing experience, preferably in small business or personal lines
• 5 CAS exams or ACAS credentials
• Degree in actuarial science, math, statistics, economics or related field
• Team leadership and project management experience
• Experience handling and managing rate filings
• Strong coding skills in SQL, VBA and/or R
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and streamline rate filing processes and exhibits
• Lead a team of analysts to execute pricing strategies
• Manage rate filing implementations with IT and QA
• Support quarterly rate indication processes
• Apply actuarial techniques and methodologies
• Communicate pricing concerns to relevant teams
• Develop data processes: SQL queries, data validation, error handling
• Serve as primary liaison for multiple lines of business on pricing
