Job summary

Codman Square Health Center in Dorchester, MA is seeking a seasoned Practice Administrator to lead operational functions across primary care departments. You will partner with medical and nursing leaders to optimize clinic flow, patient access, and service delivery.

The role is heavily data-focused, accountable for KPIs, budgets, access metrics, and patient experience outcomes, and requires directing supervisors and administrative teams to align clinical operations with financial sustainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent health care experience.
• 5–10 years of healthcare management experience, preferably in practice operations.
• Experience with large-scale projects and process improvement.
• Strong data extraction, reporting, and analysis skills.
• Familiarity with Health Care Regulatory Compliance and MA healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership for assigned primary care departments to ensure efficient clinic flow, patient access, and service delivery.
• Partner with Medical Directors and Nurse Managers to align operational strategy with clinical goals.
• Lead data-driven operational planning focused on access, productivity, patient experience, and financial performance.
• Develop and monitor initiatives to improve workflow efficiency and operational outcomes.
• Collaborate with clinical leadership on budgeting and financial performance.
• Oversee staff recruitment, coaching, and supervision of administrative teams; ensure accountability and high performance.
