Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and law degree required; equivalent experience in law firm management, legal operations, professional services, project management, or practice management may be considered.
• Prior experience in law firm management or legal operations is preferred.
• Strong understanding of practice management, staffing, utilization, and operational reporting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to the COO and practice leaders on practice management, staffing, and resource matters.
• Partner with practice leaders to develop, execute, and monitor goals and operational priorities.
• Review matters and consult on staffing, team composition, and attorney assignments throughout a matter’s lifecycle.
• Monitor attorney workload, capacity, productivity, and identify resource adjustments or interventions.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the practice management team.
• Collaborate with Innovation and Emerging Technologies to identify tools that enhance attorney and paralegal effectiveness.
