Job summary

Kahana Feld LLP seeks a Firmwide Director or Senior Manager of Practice Management to partner with the COO and practice leaders, optimizing attorney staffing, utilization, and financial management. You will provide data-driven insights to drive practice initiatives and cross-functional collaboration across departments.

The role requires strong legal operations knowledge, exceptional analytical and communication skills, and the ability to lead a matrixed organization while implementing process

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s and law degree required; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Experience in law firm management, legal operations, or practice management.
• Strong analytics, organizational, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with staffing, utilization, budgeting, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Advise COO and practice leaders on management, staffing, and resources.
• Develop and monitor practice goals, initiatives, and priorities.
• Review staffing and attorney assignments across matters.
• Monitor workload, capacity, and utilization; identify resource needs.
• Lead implementation of management initiatives and training programs.
