Job summary

Cracker Barrel is seeking a skilled IT professional for the Store Support Center to analyze and manage data systems that support business needs. You’ll participate in project teams as a system expert and drive changes from analysis through implementation and training.

You will ensure Sarbanes and PCI compliance are maintained, coordinate with testing and development groups, and provide escalation support for stores. A BS in IT/Marketing/Business or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in information services.
• Ability to lead teams effectively and communicate clearly with IT and business stakeholders.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, evaluate and prepare recommendations of data management to support the business need.
• Participate in project team meetings and serve as a system expert for IT.
• Communicate operational need and priorities to IT leadership.
• Configure changes and determine application testing needs by analyzing business and system functionality.
• Document and communicate changes to project team.
• Create, schedule and execute implementation plans for controlled releases.
• Validate implementation success.
• Ensure documentation for Sarbanes compliance, PCI, and internal PM processes is complete.
• Provide updates to testing and development groups, Store Support, Operations or other departments.
• Provide training on changes to key stakeholders.
• Provide third-tier escalation support for stores.
• Analyze and research questions from stores or other departments.
• Proactively research potential problems with existing applications.
