Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Maintenance Technician to support mission-critical operations in a hyperscale data center environment.

You will perform preventive maintenance, rapid troubleshooting, and precision repairs on UPS systems, industrial generators, and HVAC units to guarantee maximum uptime. You will follow established SOPs, review work orders, and collaborate with teams to maintain efficiency and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent with 1–2 years of experience in critical infrastructure.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.
• Proficient with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and monitoring of UPS, generators, and cooling systems to maximize uptime.
• Review work orders and coordinate with teams to track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring building systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Follow defined procedures to solve straightforward problems and exchange information clearly.
• Contribute to team tasks and complete duties under supervision and guidance.
