Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Data Center Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance, rapid troubleshooting, and precision repairs on UPS, generators and cooling in a hyperscale data center in Texas. You will follow MOP, SOP and LOTO protocols to maximize uptime and safety.

The role requires 1–2 years of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, strong communication and organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of job-related experience in critical infrastructure.
• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on UPS, generators, and cooling systems.
• Respond to repairs and troubleshoot equipment following SOPs.
• Review work orders and ensure timely completion.
• Maintain compliance with safety protocols (MOP, SOP, LOTO).
• Assist energy management and monitor building systems.
• Communicate clearly with team and supervisors.
