Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Data Center Maintenance Technician to support hyperscale facilities, performing preventative maintenance, rapid troubleshooting, and precision repairs on UPS, generators, and HVAC systems to ensure peak uptime.

You will follow strict safety protocols and work under supervision, with opportunities to develop expertise in mission-critical infrastructure and energy management within a large global real estate services firm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–2 years in critical infrastructure.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication to share straightforward information.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and monitoring of UPS, generators, and cooling to maximize uptime per SOP/LOTO.
• Review work orders and coordinate with systems to track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring building systems run efficiently.
• Inspect installations for compliance with codes and safety regulations.
• Follow procedures to solve straightforward problems and exchange information clearly.
• Contribute to team output by following defined duties under supervision.
