CBRE is seeking a Data Center Maintenance Technician to support hyperscale infrastructure, performing high-stakes preventative maintenance, rapid troubleshooting, and precision repairs on large UPS systems, generators, and HVAC units to maximize uptime.

The role emphasizes following established procedures, collaborating with teams, and maintaining safety standards in a demanding data center environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience in critical infrastructure.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks required by the role.
• Strong communication and basic work routines with standard safety procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and monitoring of UPS, generators, and cooling systems.
• Adhere to MOP, SOP, and LOTO safety protocols and track work order completion.
• Support energy management and ensure building systems run efficiently.
• Inspect installations for building code and safety compliance.
• Follow procedures to solve straightforward problems and communicate clearly.
• Contribute to team output under supervision and defined processes.
