Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Maintenance Technician to support hyperscale facility operations. You will perform preventative maintenance, rapid troubleshooting, and repairs on UPS systems, generators, and HVAC to maximize uptime.

You will work under defined procedures, follow strict safety protocols, and coordinate with teams to ensure efficient energy management and code compliance. This on-site role requires physical capability and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with relevant experience.
• Able to follow basic work routines and standards.
• Strong communication to exchange straightforward information.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and monitoring of UPS, generators, and cooling systems.
• Follow safety protocols (MOP, SOP, LOTO) and review work orders to track completion.
• Support energy management and ensure building systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect installations for compliance with codes and safety regulations.
• Utilize established procedures to solve straightforward problems and communicate clearly.
• Contribute to team goals through defined duties and guided outputs.
