Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Data Center Maintenance Technician to join our 24/7 critical operations. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on UPS, generators, and HVAC systems to ensure maximum data center uptime.

You will follow safety protocols (MOP, SOP, LOTO) and work with teams to review and complete work orders while maintaining compliance with building codes and industry standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience in critical infrastructure. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Meet the physical requirements (stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders) and the ability to lift/carry 50 lbs or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Solid communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and monitoring of UPS, generators, and cooling systems to maximize uptime.
• Support energy management and ensure building systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Follow defined procedures and communicate clearly on straightforward tasks.
• Support team output by following procedures under supervision.
