Job summary

Zurka Interactive LLC is seeking a Data Center & Facility Technician for an on-site role in Washington, DC, supporting the Naval Research Laboratory's infrastructure. The role emphasizes hands-on data center operations, cabling, hardware installations, and on-call support.

Candidates should be comfortable lifting heavy equipment and managing inventory while collaborating with vendors and internal teams. The position requires U.S.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in a Data Center environment.
• Experience installing/testing fiber optic and copper cabling.
• Experience with hardware installations and decommissions.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and rack stack hardware.
• Inventory tracking and management skills.
• Windows and/or Linux operating systems familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day data center tasks such as racking servers and running cables.
• Support and upgrade existing infrastructure; build out new enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Identify facility issues and coordinate with vendors or internal teams.
• Respond to system alerts and be available for rotating 7/24 on-call support.
