Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; an Associate degree is preferred.
• Familiarity with server installation, networking, and data center operations.
• Knowledge of operating systems, networking protocols, hardware deployment, and system administration.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Rack and install servers, switches, storage systems, and other data center hardware.
• Support network operations, user accounts, permissions, email, anti-virus, and anti-spam.
• Maintain and update network topology diagrams and documentation.
• Execute server backups, support data recovery operations, and verify backup integrity.
• Support disaster recovery operations related to power outages, fires, and other incidents.
• Implement and maintain physical and cybersecurity measures, including access controls and surveillance systems.
• Maintain accurate system logs, equipment inventories, and procedural documentation.
• Monitor and communicate system status, operational issues, and infrastructure concerns to IT staff and management.
• Follow established data center operational, security, and safety procedures.
• Support 24/7 data center operations, including on-call, night, and weekend shifts as required.
