Cirrascale Cloud Services is seeking a Level 2 Data Center Technician to support deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of servers, storage, and networking in data center environments.

This role serves as escalation point for Level 1 technicians, diagnosing complex hardware issues, supporting OS and network troubleshooting, and performing remote hands activities on projects. Strong independent work ethic is essential in a fast-paced setting.

Formación

• 2+ years of data center, server, IT infrastructure, or related technical experience.
• Experience troubleshooting server hardware and enterprise infrastructure.
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals, VLANs, and Ethernet technologies.
• Experience working in Linux environments.
• Familiarity with RAID configurations, storage systems, and virtualization platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsabilidades

• Install, rack, stack, and cable servers, storage systems, network equipment, and related infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and verify switch ports, VLANs, and transceivers.
• Assist with Linux server installations, imaging, and basic configuration.
• Serve as on-site resource for remote engineers and customers with maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate asset records and manage shipping, receiving, and RMA processing.
• Create and update operational procedures and runbooks; document ticket updates.
