Job summary

Cirrascale Cloud Services is seeking a Level 2 Data Center Technician to support deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of server, storage, and networking infrastructure within our data center environments.

The role serves as a technical escalation point for Level 1 technicians, diagnosing complex hardware issues, performing remote hands activities, and assisting with large-scale infrastructure projects in a fast-paced production setting.

Qualifications

2+ years of data center, server, IT infrastructure, or related technical experience.
Experience troubleshooting server hardware and enterprise infrastructure.
Understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals, VLANs, and Ethernet technologies.
Experience working in Linux environments.
Familiarity with RAID configurations, storage systems, and virtualization platforms.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Install, rack, stack, and cable servers, storage systems, network equipment, and related infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and replace hardware components including drives, power supplies, memory, GPUs, RAID controllers, NICs, fans.
Perform firmware upgrades and hardware diagnostics.
Execute hardware decommissioning projects and validate data wipe procedures.
Provide guidance and mentorship to Level 1 Data Center Technicians.
Support network deployment and upgrade projects.
