Job summary

Cirrascale Cloud Services is seeking a Level 2 Data Center Technician to deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot server, storage, and networking infrastructure in data center environments. You will be the escalation point for Level 1 technicians, diagnose complex hardware issues, and support OS and network troubleshooting with remote hands activities.

You will mentor Level 1 technicians, manage on-site hardware installations, perform firmware upgrades, and participate in large-scale infrastructure

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in data center, server, IT infrastructure, or equivalent.
• Experience troubleshooting server hardware and enterprise infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking, VLANs, and Ethernet.
• Experience working in Linux environments.
• Familiarity with RAID configurations, storage systems, and virtualization.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Install, rack, stack, and cable servers, storage systems, network equipment.
• Troubleshoot and replace hardware components.
• Perform firmware upgrades and hardware diagnostics.
• Execute hardware decommissioning and data wipe validation.
• Provide guidance to Level 1 technicians.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity and verify switch ports/VLANs.
• Support OS installations, imaging, and basic configuration.
• Assist with OS-level diagnostics and customer image validation.
• Remote hands on-site support and change management.
• Inventory and asset management, including audits and RMAs.
• Maintain documentation and runbooks; identify process improvements.
