Job summary

Cirrascale Cloud Services seeks a Level 2 Data Center Technician to deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, storage, and networking in our data centers in Jacksonville. You will be the escalation point for Level 1 techs and support OS and network troubleshooting, remote hands activities, and large-scale projects.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in data center environments, strong hardware troubleshooting, and Linux experience.

Qualifications

2+ years in data center or related IT infrastructure.
Experience troubleshooting server hardware and enterprise infrastructure.
Understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals, VLANs, and Ethernet technologies.
Experience working in Linux environments.
Familiarity with RAID configurations, storage systems, and virtualization.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Install, rack, stack, and cable servers, storage systems, network equipment, and related infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and replace hardware components including drives, power supplies, memory, GPUs, RAID controllers, NICs, fans, and other server components.
Perform firmware upgrades and hardware diagnostics.
Assist with Linux OS installations, imaging, and basic configuration.
Provide on-site remote hands support for remote engineers and customers.
Maintain asset records and participate in inventory audits and updates.
