Data Center Technician II focuses on proactive end-user support via phone, email, and in-person interactions, handles trouble tickets, installs circuits, and ensures security and compliance in a fast-paced data center environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 2-4 years of experience or demonstrated ability to meet responsibilities.
• College degree in related discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain effective customer relationships and respond to calls and emails promptly.
• Complete installation, testing and close-out of customer orders, hardware and software support while ensuring tickets are resolved timely.
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues and escalate to on-call or engineering staff as needed in a fast-paced data center environment.
• Perform security walkthroughs and manage sign-in procedures for visitors and customers while following security standards.
• Accurately log time on tasks and tickets, including timesheet submissions.
