Job summary

DataBank Holdings Ltd. is seeking a Data Center Technician II in Plano, TX to support end-user services and data center operations. The role covers installation, testing, and troubleshooting of hardware and circuits, with emphasis on security and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include maintaining logs, on-call readiness, and collaborating with the Operations Team to ensure uptime and compliance with company standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• College degree in related discipline preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience or demonstrated ability to meet these responsibilities/qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain effective customer relationships, with customer satisfaction as the ultimate goal. Answer customer phone calls and emails promptly and professionally.
• Complete installation, testing and close out of new Customer orders, computer/server hardware, software support while ensuring tickets/orders are resolved quickly and thoroughly.
• Monitor, assist and/or resolve troubleshooting technical issues and alarms with DataBank Infrastructure; escalate as needed in a fast-paced data center environment.
• Perform physical security walkthroughs and administer security sign-in procedures for all customers and visitors, adhering to security standards.
• Accurately capture time invested on tasks and tickets, including timesheets, and maintain facility cleanliness and readiness.
