Job summary

DataBank Holdings Ltd. in Houston, TX, is seeking a Data Center Technician III to provide proactive end-user support via phone, email, and on-site visits within a fast-paced data center environment.

You will maintain accurate logs, respond to tickets, and ensure facility safety and cleanliness while delivering reliable service. Responsibilities include installing and testing circuits (Ethernet, DS1/DS3, fiber), monitoring critical systems, coordinating with vendors, and contributing to security

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 3-5 years of experience or demonstrated ability to meet these responsibilities/qualifications.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Familiarity with DS1, DS3, Ethernet and fiber circuits is a plus.
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems (pc/server) is required.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain effective customer relationships and respond to inquiries promptly.
• Ensure installs, capacity checks, testing and close-out of orders are completed on time.
• Resolve tickets/cases in a timely and professional manner.
• Support cost efficiency, outage management, change management, and compliance within the Data Center.
• Supervise vendor maintenance activities within Data Center.
• Maintain facility security procedures and tour readiness.
