Job summary

DataBank Holdings Ltd. is seeking a Data Center Technician I to support end-user services and data center operations in a fast-paced environment. You will handle trouble tickets, assist with installations, and maintain facility security and cleanliness.

The role emphasizes customer relationships, prompt ticket resolution, and adherence to DataBank security standards while working with the Operations Team. Prior NOC/IOC experience is beneficial, and lifting up to 50 lbs may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–4 years of data center or NOC/IOC experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain customer relationships; respond to calls and emails promptly.
• Assist with installs, testing, and close-out of customer orders; support hardware/software tasks.
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues; escalate to on-call staff as needed.
• Perform security walkthroughs and sign-in procedures for customers and visitors.
• Document tasks, timesheets, and Cap Labor accurately; maintain readiness of the facility.
• Maintain cleanliness and adhere to DataBank cabling standards.
• Keep inventory of tools, equipment, and devices; follow procedures.
• Support other duties as assigned.
