Job summary

Cirrascale Cloud Services in Austin, TX is hiring a Level 2 Data Center Technician to support deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of servers, storage, and networking hardware in our data centers. This role serves as a technical escalation point for Level 1 technicians and requires strong hardware diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently.

You will install, rack, cable, and maintain equipment, perform firmware updates, support Linux OS issues, and participate in inventory,

Qualifications

2+ years of data center, server, IT infrastructure experience.
Experience troubleshooting server hardware and enterprise infrastructure.
Understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals, VLANs, and Ethernet technologies.
Experience working in Linux environments.
Familiarity with RAID configurations, storage systems, and virtualization platforms.

Responsibilities

Install, rack, stack, and cable servers, storage systems, network equipment, and related infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and replace hardware components including drives, power supplies, memory, GPUs, RAID controllers, NICs, fans, and other server components.
Perform firmware upgrades and hardware diagnostics.
Execute hardware decommissioning projects and validate data wipe procedures.
Provide guidance and mentorship to Level 1 Data Center Technicians.
Maintain accurate asset records within company systems.
