Job summary

Ericsson Inc. is seeking a Data Center Services Technician in New Albany, Ohio. You will support installation, operation, and maintenance of data center infrastructure, including servers, cabling, PDUs, and testing, with safety and quality in mind.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required with technical certification preferred.
• 1+ years in data center operations, cabling, or IT infrastructure support.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, installation docs, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Install and deploy servers, network devices, storage, and related infrastructure per designs and docs.
• Route, terminate, and dress copper/fiber cabling with proper labeling and management.
• Provision equipment, perform hardware installs, and manage out-of-band connections.
• Execute basic testing, fiber verification, and standard turn-up procedures.
• Perform MACD activities and FRU replacements per procedures.
• Maintain installation records, test results, and as-built docs.
• Escalate design concerns or safety risks to senior staff.
