Job summary

Ericsson Inc. is seeking a Data Center Services Technician to support installation, operation, and maintenance of data center infrastructure in New Albany, Ohio.

The role focuses on independent execution of standard deployment tasks, cabling, testing, and equipment provisioning in hyperscale and enterprise environments. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in data center operations or IT infrastructure, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data center operations, structured cabling or IT infrastructure.
• Experience with rack-and-stack, cabling, testing and equipment installation.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and adhere to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Install and deploy servers, network devices, storage equipment per designs and docs.
• Route, terminate, and dress copper/fiber cabling with proper labeling and management.
• Install PDUs, connect power sources, verify power and management connectivity.
• Provision equipment, install components, and configure out-of-band management.
• Perform testing, validation, MACD activities, and FRU replacements per procedures.
• Maintain installation records, test results, and as-built docs.
