Job summary

IES Communications seeks a Technician I - Data Center Services to support both physical and virtual infrastructure across sites. You will drive data center best practices, perform MACs, install hardware, label equipment, and maintain documentation.

You must be able to travel 100% of the time as a full-time traveler, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a data center environment with safety first. Benefits begin after 30 days of employment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 2+ years data center/related technical field.
• General knowledge of server/network equipment and software support.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Support scheduled data center MACs (Moves/Adds/Changes).
• Hardware installation and labeling, power and network cabling.
• Complete hardware support orders, troubleshooting and break-fix.
• Asset management, auditing and daily work logs.
• Provide on-site vendor and security escorts as needed.
• Maintain safety and security procedures and documentation.
