Job summary

Ericsson Inc. is looking for a Data Center Services Technician to support installation, operation, and maintenance of data center infrastructure in New Albany, Ohio.

The role emphasizes independent work on standard deployment tasks, cabling, testing, and equipment provisioning to meet Ericsson and customer standards. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or technical certification and 1+ years in data center ops or related IT infrastructure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, technical certification, vocational training, or equivalent experience required.
• 1+ years of data center operations, structured cabling, or IT infrastructure experience.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, installation docs and MOPs.

Responsibilities

• Install and deploy servers, network devices, storage, and related infrastructure per designs and docs.
• Install, route, terminate, and dress copper and fiber cabling with proper labeling and management.
• Perform MACDs, equipment provisioning, testing, and FRU replacements per procedures.
• Maintain installation records, test results, and as-built docs; escalate design or safety issues.
• Work with technicians, vendors and customers while managing tasks independently.
