Job summary

Ericsson Inc. in New Albany, Ohio is seeking a Data Center Services Technician to support installation, operation, and maintenance of hyperscale data center infrastructure. The role suits technicians with data center operations, telecommunications, or IT infra experience who can work independently on standard tasks.

You will perform rack-and-stack, cabling, testing, and provisioning while following Ericsson and customer standards, with safety and quality at the core of every activity.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in data center operations or IT infrastructure support.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and MOPs.
• Experience with rack-and-stack, cabling, testing.

Responsibilities

• Install and deploy servers, network devices, and storage per designs.
• Route, terminate copper/fiber cabling with proper labeling.
• Install PDUs, connect to power sources, verify connectivity.
• Provision equipment, install hardware, and OOB management.
• Perform testing and MACD moves following procedures.
• Maintain installation records, test results, and inventories.
• Escalate design/operational risks to senior staff.
