Job summary

Ericsson Inc. in New Albany, OH is seeking a Data Center Services Technician to support installation, operation and maintenance of infrastructure in hyperscale and enterprise data centers.

You will execute rack-and-stack activities, cabling installs, equipment provisioning, testing and operational support while ensuring safety and standards compliance. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years in data center ops, structured cabling, telecom, field services, or IT infra support.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, installation docs and MOPs.
• Experience with rack-and-stack, cabling, testing and equipment installation under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Independently install and deploy servers, network devices, storage and related infra per designs and docs.
• Install, route, terminate and dress copper/fiber cabling with proper labeling and management.
• Install rack PDUs, connect to power sources and verify power connectivity.
• Perform equipment provisioning, hardware installation and OOB management connections.
• Execute testing and validation, MACD activities and standard FRU replacements per procedures.
• Maintain installation records, test results and as-built docs.
• Identify design concerns, operational issues, and safety risks to senior techs.
