Job Summary

As part of a technicallydiverse team, this position will be part of mission criticalservice delivery to the institution and outside customers.

Will work in a high security facility, housing sensitive data,providing mission critical services and support life safetyoperations.

• Answer customer phone calls and emails in a professionalmanner.
• Receive and address work orders to install computer, networkand server hardware.
• Monitor and help troubleshoot technical issues with data centerinfrastructure and customer owned IT equipment.
• Contact on-call staff or data center engineers when escalationis appropriate.
• Perform facility walkthroughs and administration of security atreception.
• Hold all tenants accountable to security procedures foraccess.
• Operate a company vehicle to perform assigned tasks at multiplelocations.
• Not eligible for any remote work.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT: 1 year of higher educationcan be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience(Example: bachelor's degree = 4 years of directly related workexperience).

Data Center Technician, II: Requires at least 1year of related experience.

Preferences

• Previous data center experience.
• Familiarity with cooling systems.
• Experience with ethernet, fiber optic and copper cabling.
• Customer service experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency using email, video conferencing, spreadsheets,Microsoft and Apple operating systems.
