Job summary

DataBank Holdings Ltd. is seeking a Data Center Technician I to join our Irvine operations team. This role prioritizes proactive customer service through phone, email, and on-site support while maintaining logs and supporting installations and maintenance of data center infrastructure.

You will troubleshoot tickets, monitor critical systems (BMS, security), perform routine circuit installations, and ensure compliance with DataBank security standards in a fast-paced data center environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–4 years of data center/NOC experience preferred.
• Familiarity with DS1, DS3, Ethernet, and dark fiber circuits.
• Experience with generators, UPS, DC Plant, HVAC, and fire suppression systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction.
• Assist with guidance on installs, tests, and close out of new orders and hardware support.
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues and escalations in a fast-paced data center.
• Perform security walkthroughs and enforce access procedures adhering to standards.
• Document time and work performed, ensuring accurate timesheets and records.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and readiness for operations.
• Follow cabling standards and help manage inventory of tools and devices.
