Job summary

InfraServices seeks a Data Center Technician I to assist with the installation and deployment of data center infrastructure in various environments. You will develop installation skills under supervision, handling cabling, rack power, and basic infrastructure components for new builds, expansions, and MACDs.

The role requires following engineered drawings and safety policies, with travel to job sites and potential overnight stays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related trade school education.
• Two years or less experience in telecommunications, structured cabling, construction, or data center environments preferred.
• Must have or obtain OSHA 10 Construction Training Card and First Aid/CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of server cabinets and network racks.
• Pull and route copper, coax, and fiber optic cabling per standards.
• Install basic rack power components (rPDUs, cable whips).
• Follow drawings, SOWs, and MOPs to complete tasks safely.
• Maintain organized work areas and document installation results.
