Job summary

InfraServices is seeking a Data Center Technician II to perform advanced installation and deployment activities for data center infrastructure across colocation, enterprise, regional, and hyperscale environments. You will lead full row installations, interpret engineered drawings, and own installation QA/QC, guiding less experienced technicians on complex projects.

The role supports new builds, expansions, and MACD projects, with travel to job sites and strict adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of data center installation experience.
• Experience with full row installations and QA/QC activities.
• Experience in colocation or hyperscale environments preferred.
• Must have or obtain and maintain OSHA 10 Construction Training Card.
• Must have or obtain and maintain First Aid and CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Independently install and align server cabinets, network racks, ladder rack, containment systems, and supporting infrastructure according to engineered drawings and floor plans.
• Perform full row installations and validate layouts using field measurements and project documentation.
• Install overhead ladder rack, basket tray, conveyance systems, and fiber trough infrastructure.
• Pull, route, terminate, and dress copper, coax, and fiber optic cabling according to customer and industry standards.
• Rack and secure servers, switches, storage arrays, optical transport equipment, and related hardware.
• Maintain ownership of QA/QC processes including punch lists, installation verification, and closeout activities.
