Job summary

InfraServices is seeking a Data Center Technician II to independently perform advanced installation and deployment of data center infrastructure across colocation, enterprise, regional, and hyperscale environments. You will lead full row installs, interpret drawings, ensure QA processes, and support new builds, expansions, and MACD projects.

You will travel regionally/nationally as required and mentor junior technicians while upholding safety and quality standards in fast-paced deployments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in data center installation or telecommunications deployment.
• Ability to interpret engineered drawings, floor plans, and MOPs.
• Experience with full row installations and QA/QC activities.
• OSHA 10 Construction Training Card preferred or required.
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and align server cabinets, racks, containment systems per drawings.
• Perform full row installations and validate layouts with measurements.
• Install cable infrastructure (copper, fiber) per standards.
• Create and maintain as-built documentation and labeling.
• Mentor Technician I and support team development.
• Adhere to safety policies and complete administrative records on time.
