Job summary

InfraServices in Wanamingo, MN is hiring a Data Center Technician I to support installation and deployment of data center infrastructure in various environments. You will handle basic installation tasks such as cabling, rack setup, and power components under supervision.

The role requires physical capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work in fast-paced deployment settings, with travel up to 75% and a strong emphasis on safety and proper documentation.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic IT concepts.
• Familiarity with copper and fiber cabling systems.
• Ability to read simple floor plans and installation instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of server cabinets, network racks, and containment systems.
• Pull, route, secure, and dress copper, coax, and fiber cabling.
• Install Cat6/6A, MPO, fiber trunks, patch panels, and cable enclosures.
• Support installation of basic rack power components (rPDUs, cable whips).
• Follow drawings, SOPs, and installation manuals; maintain documentation.
• Travel to job sites regionally and nationally up to 75% of the time.
