Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a Data Center Technician to help ensure availability and reliability of our data center operations. This is a salaried, on-site role requiring hands-on hardware and network work in a fast-paced environment.

You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, develop documentation, and support on-site teams across locations, with up to 10% travel and a rotating on-call schedule.

Qualifications

• Hardware experience and troubleshooting
• Linux OS experience
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• On-site 24/7 environment with on-call rotation
• Travel up to 10% to other data centers as required by business needs

Responsibilities

• Maintain data center operations to ensure service availability and reliability.
• Conduct hardware and network diagnostics and repairs.
• Root cause analysis of hardware and software failures.
• Training of internal teams.
• Development of documentation.
• Provide technical support to data center teams.
• Development of scripts to update the server and networking hardware.
• Maintain inventory.
• Assemble and install equipment.
• Perform maintenance of test and tool equipment.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time to other data center locations.
• Respond to on-site equipment failures or emergencies within 60 minutes while on on-call.
