Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Data Center Technician for night shift to perform preventative maintenance and repairs in a data center environment. You will monitor mechanical and electrical systems, respond to alarms, and work with vendors to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualified candidates have technical training or apprenticeship with 1–2 years of related experience, strong communication, and proficient use of MS Office.

Qualifications

• Training in a technical discipline with apprenticeship or equivalent (1–2 years experience).
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs on data center equipment.
• Monitor and respond to Building Management System alarms.
• Coordinate with vendors and ensure compliance with processes and regulations.
• Take meter readings from UPS, PDU, and utilities; document maintenance.
• Complete PM and reactive maintenance following established procedures.
