Job summary

INSPYR Solutions is seeking a Data Center Technician in Hermiston, OR (or Boardman, OR) for a 6-month contract. The role involves installing hardware, troubleshooting systems, maintaining documentation, and supporting a 24/7 data center environment.

Responsibilities include rack and hardware maintenance, incident response, and collaboration with engineers, vendors, and contractors. On-call rotations and SOP adherence are expected, with emphasis on safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of hardware troubleshooting experience.
• Basic IT concepts knowledge and strong communication.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow SOPs and independently resolve tickets.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain server racks and hardware components.
• Troubleshoot hardware and network issues.
• Respond to operational incidents and escalate when needed.
• Serve as primary contact for engineers, vendors, contractors.
• Participate in on-call rotations and change management.
• Create and maintain documentation; assist onboarding.
