Job summary

INSPYR Solutions is seeking a Data Center Technician to support 24/7 infrastructure in Manassas, VA. You will install server racks, troubleshoot hardware and network issues, and respond to incidents to maintain availability.

The role requires strong communication and teamwork, with on-call rotations and documentation duties. Qualified candidates bring 1+ year hands-on hardware experience, basic IT concepts knowledge, and the ability to follow SOPs.

Qualifications

1+ years of relevant experience in computer/server hardware troubleshooting or related IT field.
Basic knowledge of commonly used IT concepts, practices, and procedures.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to independently resolve tickets and follow SOPs.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Install and maintain server racks and hardware components.
Perform break-fix repairs and troubleshoot hardware and network issues.
Respond to operational incidents impacting service availability and elevate when necessary.
Act as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders (engineers, vendors, contractors, etc.).
Participate in on-call rotations, scheduled maintenance, and change management activities.
Create and maintain documentation; contribute to process improvements.
Assist in training and onboarding new team members.
