Job summary

INSPYR Solutions in Manassas, VA is seeking a Technical Support Technician/Data Center Technician for a 6-month contract (potential extension and conversion to FTE). The role requires hands-on hardware installation, server troubleshooting, and on-call support in a 24/7 environment.

You will work with engineers and vendors, maintain documentation, and participate in change management while handling incidents and break-fix repairs.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant experience in computer/server hardware troubleshooting or related IT field
• Basic knowledge of commonly used IT concepts, practices, and procedures
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to independently resolve tickets and follow SOPs
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain server racks and hardware components
• Perform break-fix repairs and troubleshoot hardware and network issues
• Respond to operational incidents impacting service availability and elevate when necessary
• Act as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders (engineers, vendors, contractors, etc.)
• Participate in on-call rotations, scheduled maintenance, and change management activities
• Create and maintain documentation; contribute to process improvements
• Assist in training and onboarding new team members
