Job summary

STACK Infrastructure in Santa Teresa, NM is seeking a Technical Trainer to design and deliver technical training programs for Critical Operators across a large data center campus. The role partners with an Instructional Designer to translate complex systems into clear, actionable instruction for hands‑on and classroom delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical education, or related field, or equivalent hands‑on technical experience.
• 5+ years delivering technical training in mission‑critical environments.
• Experience in Critical Operations, Commissioning, Controls, Data Centers, or other mission‑critical environments.
• Hands‑on experience with electrical and mechanical systems (UPS, generators, switchgear, HVAC).
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills for classroom and virtual delivery; safety and reliability mindset.
• Ability to write and train on SOPs/MOPs/EOPs and read engineering documentation.
• Comfortable onsite in active construction/commissioning environments.
• Proven ability to train individuals with no prior technical experience.
• Experience contributing technical content for e‑learning with ID collaboration.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; capable of engaging diverse learners.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; LMS experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive technical training for Critical Operators in person and via virtual formats.
• Conduct hands‑on demonstrations of electrical, mechanical, controls, monitoring, and safety systems.
• Contribute to shaping training labs, equipment, and learning environments.
• Assess and document trainee ability to apply concepts safely.
• Partner with Instructional Designer to build ILT and eLearning content.
• Update course materials as procedures evolve or incidents reveal a need for revision.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure training aligns with operations and readiness timelines.
• Maintain training records, certifications, and LMS updates.
