Job summary

STACK Infrastructure is seeking a Technical Trainer to design and deliver hands-on training for Critical Operators across a large data center campus. You will work with an Instructional Designer to build curricula and run instructor-led sessions, both in person and virtually, ensuring technicians achieve operational readiness.

The role emphasizes translating complex electrical, mechanical, and controls systems into clear learning paths, maintaining LMS records, and continuously improving

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical education, or related field, or equivalent hands-on technical experience.
• 5+ years delivering technical training in mission-critical environments.
• Experience in Critical Operations, Commissioning, Controls, Data Centers, or related fields is required.
• Hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical systems (UPS, generators, switchgear, HVAC).
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills for classroom and virtual delivery.
• Ability to write and train on SOPs/MOPs/EOPs and read engineering documentation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive technical training for Critical Operators in-person and virtual formats.
• Conduct hands-on demonstrations and simulations of electrical, mechanical, controls, monitoring, and safety systems.
• Contribute to shaping training labs, equipment, and learning environments.
• Assess and document trainees' ability to confidently apply concepts learned.
• Partner with Instructional Designer to build structured ILT and eLearning that progresses from foundational concepts to advanced competencies.
• Update course materials as procedures evolve or incidents reveal needs.
• Maintain training records, certifications, and LMS documentation.
