Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Lockbourne, USA, seeks a Data Center Team Lead for Dock A-shift (6:30AM-2:30PM). You will oversee loading/unloading, inventory control, and the installation of servers and components using hand and power tools.

Your role requires 3-5 years of related experience, strong safety knowledge, and the ability to pass background checks. Proficiency with warehouse systems and a proactive, collaborative approach are essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related experience is required.
• Knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge hazards and protocols is required.
• Experience with computers and multiple warehouse management systems is required.
• Must be able to pass background checks and drug and alcohol tests.

Responsibilities

• Oversee loading and unloading of inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers, including management of shipping documents and records.
• Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound freight, ensuring correct part numbers and pristine condition.
• Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical spare parts on site at the datacenter.
• Oversee placement of server racks on the datacenter floor using laser measurement devices with high accuracy.
• Install rack hardware and cabling into server racks according to diagrams and schematics.
• Operate material handling equipment such as straddle stackers and electric pallet jacks.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with 5S standards.
