Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is hiring a Data Center Team Lead for the Dock - B-Shift (2:00pm–10:30PM), Monday through Friday, at the New Albany datacenter. The role oversees material orders, customer service, and inventory management, including server assembly and component installation with various tools.

You will lead loading/unloading, quality checks, cycle counts, and rack installations. We require 3–5 years of related experience, strong interpersonal and customer service skills,

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of related experience is required.
• Must pass background checks, clearances, and/or drug and alcohol tests as required.
• Base pay range is $27.00 per hour, with actual compensation based on experience and location.

Responsibilities

• Oversee loading and unloading of inbound and outbound freight and manage shipping documents and records.
• Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound freight, verifying part numbers and quantities.
• Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment for critical spare parts on site at the datacenter.
• Process return shipments of electronic components using warehouse management systems.
• Oversee placement of server racks on the datacenter floor using laser measuring devices with high accuracy.
• Install cabling and populate electronic components into server racks per diagrams and schematics.
• Install rack hardware using hand, power, and measuring tools.
• Operate material handling equipment such as straddle stackers, rack movers and electric pallet jacks.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and adherence to 5S standards in the work area.
• Push, pull and lift frequently during the shift.
